Blessed Umoljani villagers

Bjelašnica is an Olympic mountain and it has multiple villages worth of visiting. One of those villages is Umoljani, where you can still meet the locals, try their tasty food, get some hand-made socks and talk about the old days. Ladies here are working on herb collecting during the summer months so you can even have a divine cup of healthy tea from the mountain fields.

We will go and meet the local entrepreneurs who have opened a mountain hut for all the nature and tradition lovers. Here’s where we’ll have our delicious pita and sweet hurmašica while drinking Bosnian coffee, but not before visiting Studeni potok (Cold creek) for some good legend-telling and hiking.

Expect to enjoy amazing scenery with multiple peaks around you, to taste fresh mountain water from the source and sneak a peek into one of the 7 watermills.
