Deep roots farming in Herzegovina

When we were making this tour we wanted to deepen the connection between people and nature, the connection that already exists but the modern world is changing it slowly. We go to the grocery store to buy milk products, vetables, fruits and all else, and that’s easier way, but the special feeling comes when you produce your own, organic, food.

To acomplish this we will go to the south of the country, start our morning in cultural ascent through Mostar city tour. After that we will visit the peacefull location of Buna river springs, see the dervish house – tekki in Blagaj, and after that go to the local farm up in the mountains.

Here is where we’ll meet the local family that is producing organic food for themselfes, and for us. For the brave ones, there is the opportunity for cow milking, donkey riding, egg harvesting and sheep feeding.

For the reward we will taste some of the local products, such as cheese from the sack, cream cheese, dried beef and other organic products. A memorable experience, we promise you that.
