Mahala downhill

Urban planning of Sarajevo, or the lack of it, is visible from the air, but this trip is all about experiencing the narrow streets of Trebević side of the city. First we’ll use the newest addition, Sarajevo cable car, that will take us to the remains of the bob-sleigh track that is one of the landmarks of glorious days of Sarajevo, this is where we’ll learn more about the Winter Olympic games from 1984.

Not just we will see the bob-sleigh, but we will follow it down and walk on it for more than 3 kilometers, quite unique experience to be honest, and then we’ll roam through the forest until we reach the beginning of civilisation.

This is where you’ll understand the concept of mahala (or neighbourhood), it’s meaning and legends connected to it. To be mahalac, or not to be? Where do čaršijaneri stop? The difference between avilijčad and haustorčad? We will explain it all… Stay entertaned and enjoy the view, it’s deffinitely the best one in Sarajevo!
