Sarajevo for beginners 

A two-hour walk through the historical core of Sarajevo is ideal for those who do not stay long in our city and want to find out more about this interesting place. We can also call the tour a “journey through centuries”, since we touch the different time epochs, starting from the ancient Neolithic, to this day.

We will listen to stories about the most important events related to Sarajevo, the most important people who lived in this city, we will visit the most famous buildings and buildings, we will walk through the cult Sarajevo streets.

Among other things, we will find out: Who is the founder of Sarajevo and what exactly does the name Sarajevo mean? Where does the doom of Sarajevo City Hall, one of the most beautiful symbols of the city, come from? Who were Sarajevo’s timekeepers and why were they very important to the city? How and where did the First World War begin?
