Neretva river rafting

Neretva river is one of the coolest places in Bosnia and Herzegovina, literally, since it’s believed that this is one of the coldest rivers in the world with summer temperature around 8 degrees Celsius. But don’t be scared, it’s perfect for Mediterranean climate it flows through, you will be happy that it’s that cold.

It’s name comes from the base “Ner” which means “to dive”, and that’s exactly what you’ll be doing deep in the canyon. River is one of the most important freshwater sources for Bosnia&Herzegovina and Croatia, and one of the biggest rivers of the eastern part of the Adriatic basin.

The water is so clear that you will be able to see the river floor 15 meters bellow you and drink the water directly as you raft down the river.

Rafting itself takes around 4 hours, you will get the opportunity to experience barbecuing at the banks of the river, and you will definitely try to swim in it’s joining mountain streams.
