Kingdom of Bosnia
Kraljeva Sutjeska is a village in central Bosnia that has multiple historic founding in it, and probably the most important are the ruins of Bosnian Court and the residency of the Bosnian kings up in the hills.
We will go to this place of great significance to visit 14th century Franciscan Monastery that holds one of the most beautiful libraries in the country. We will also see what’s believed to be the oldest mosque in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a 15th century Mehmed II Fatih.
After this we will take a ride to visit old fort of the Bosnian Kingdom, Vranduk, that lies at the Bosna river canyon and the pass carries it’s name. This is a 14th century fort located high in the hill, surrounded by river, built at the location of old citadel.
What’s super cool about this place, beside it’s centuries old? You can actually try archery!
